Potato Puri Petia Curry

Ingredients used in Potato Puri Petia Curry
• Wheat flour - 1 cup.
• Semolina - 1/2 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
• Water - as required.
• Oil - as required.
• Mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Curry leaves - 3 springs.
• Onion (chopped) - 1 number.
• Green chilies (chopped) - 4 number.
• Green peas - 1/2 cup.
• Potato (chopped) - 2 number.
• Spring onion (chopped) - 2 bunch.
• Chick pea flour - 1 cup.
Method:
  • Take wheat flour in a bowl, add semolina, salt mix to a stiff dough by adding required amount ofwater and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, chopped onions, toss it, add turmeric powder, chopped green chilies, green peas, boiled and chopped potato pieces and cook well.
  • Take a bowl, add chickpea flour, salt, water, mix to a thin slurry, transfer to the cooking pan and saute well.
  • Then add finely chopped spring onions, cook with closed lid for about 5 minutes, turn off the flame and transfer to the serving bowl.
  • Now take small portions of the prepared dough, roll them into small puris and deep fry in hot oil.

Hot puris are now ready to serve with delicious Potato Puri Petia Curry.
