Ingredients used in Button mushroom curry
• Mushrooms - 14 number.
• Tomatoes - 4 numbers.
• Garam masala/chicken masala - 1 tea spoon.
• Green chillies - 3 numbers.
• Onions - 2 numbers.
• Chilli powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Curry leaves - 2 springs.
• Salt - to taste.
• Oil - 6 tablespoons.
• Coriander leaves - 1 bunch.
• Jeera/cumin seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
Method:
  • Wash the mushrooms and cut them into slices.
  • Cut tomatoes into small cubes. Cut onions, green chilies and finely chop coriander leaves.
  • Take a pan, heat oil. Add jeera, when they splutter, add onions and saute them till they become soft.
  • Then add turmeric powder, curry leaves and tomatoes. Cook tomatoes till they are mashed softly and a thick gravy forms.
  • In the same pan, add garam masala, coriander powder, chili powder and fry for 30 seconds.
  • To it, even add the cut mushrooms to this gravy and cook for 15 more minutes.
  • At last, garnish with coriander leaves and serve with rice or chapathi. It tastes good with vegetable pulao.

Adding the rasam pdr is a little mistake there, i did it and it turns out a bit different taste.

tomatoes n turmeric pwdr included in recipe but missing in ingredient's list.
