Ingredients used in SWEET CLOVE POCKETS
• Maida flour - 2 cups.
• Ghee - 4 teaspoons.
• Sugar - 1 cup.
• Water - 2 cups.
• Raisins - 1 tablespoon.
• Nutmeg - half tea spoon.
• Cardamom powder - half tea spoon.
• Dry coconut (grated) - 1 cup.
• Dry fruits (almond, cashew nuts, walnuts) - half cup.
• Oil - as required.
• Cloves - 10 numbers.
Method:
Place a bowl on stove, pour water and add sugar to it. Let it boil till it appears as string consistency. Then take Raisins, dried coconut powder, cardamom powder, nutmeg powder, flakes of almonds, walnuts, cashew nuts and mix them all together. Make a dough of maida flour by adding ghee, now make small balls and press them like poori. Then keep the mixture in middle and fold from all the sides then pinwith cloves. Then deep fry them in oil and dip in sugar syrup. Now the tasty dish is ready to serve.
