Main Ingredient : sooji/semolina

Published date : November 07, 2016

Ingredients used in rava cheedai
• Cooking sode - pinch.
• Salt - to taste.
• Chiili powder - 1 tablespoons.
• Butter - 2 tablespoons.
• Rava - 1 cup.
• Water - .
• Oil - to fry.
Method:
Add butter, salt, chilli pdr, pinch of cookind soda with rava and mix it well. then add water into it and make a soft and nice dough. then keep aside for 30 mins. 30 mins later press the dough for 5 mins and make small balls like cheedai or we can make any shape as we like ( shells, hearts, my daughter likes to do chair, bag ect.,). Heat the oil and deep fry the cheedais in medium flame until golden brown colour, cheedais are ready now. This receipe i learned fm my mom and she use to do when heavy rain comes we cannt even go outside, immd. she would like to do this and we also enjoyed our own shapes (when i was young) and hot cheedais. now my daughter is too. when i saw your sweet shells then i feel to share this receipe with you. (but you may know this earlier). I#39;ve learned sweet shells, mushroom fry, sooji halwa and some more receipes from you Mr. Vah Chef. Thank you very much. Regards Priyaashok
