Ingredients used in Raw Tomoto Chutney
• Asafoetida - pinch .
• Peeled small oninons - 2 numbers.
• Tamarind - grape small.
• Fenugreek seeds - 5 numbers.
• Green tomoto - 1/2 lbs.
• Green chillies - 8 numbers.
• Salt ,oil, - Sufficient .
• Tadka/ popu (mustard, jeera, urad dal, curry leaves) - Pinch of each .
Method:
1. select tomotoes (before ripening stage) 2. wash and cut finely 3. dry roast fenugreek seeds. 4. Heat oil , add asafoetida, fenu greek seeds, green chillies, small onions and then tomotoes together till moisture is completely absorbed. 5. Cool down to room temperature, and pound it along with tamarind, salt to coarse paste. 6. Heat little oil, add tadka ingradients, once they are done, add them to the Coarse tomoto paste.
