Published date : November 16, 2016

Ingredients used in Rayalaseema Masala Dosa
• Salt - as required .
• Green chilli powder - as required .
• Onions - 2 large.
• Dosa mix / dosa pindi - 500 grams.
• Putnaalu / a kind of gram - 200 grams.
Method:
1. Make the dosa mix and keep it ready. 2. Make Onion Chutney by grinding onions, salt and green chilli powder in a grinder, green chilli can also substitute red chilli. Keep it aside. 3. Make Putnaala powder, by grinding putnaalu with a pinch of salt. 4. Heat the dosa pan and make dosa, when it is slightly burnt on one side and comes out burn it on second side for just a minute now again reverse it and spread the onion chutney onto the second side or inner side of dosa. 5. Let it heat for a minute and then sprinkle putnaala podi on the dosa to make the chutney sit nicely on the inner portion. 6. Just keep it on a pan till it gets the right brown burning of a dosa. do not turn it, but just make it into a semi circle and serve. 7. It tastes good if eaten with palli chutney or boiled aloo curry but can also be eaten without any chutney.
