RED VELVET CUPCAKES

Ingredients used in RED VELVET CUPCAKES
• Egg - 1 number.
• Powder sugar - 1 cup.
• Oil - 1/4 cup.
• Buttermilk - 1/4 cup.
• All purpose flour - 1/2 cup.
• Salt - 1 pinch.
• Baking soda - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Cocoa powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Vanilla essence - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Vinegar - 1 tea spoon.
• Raspberry food colour (liquid) - 1-2 ml.
• Butter - 50 grams.
• Icing sugar(powder) - 75 grams.
Method:
  • Take a bowl and add all purpose flour bowl, salt, baking soda, cocoa powder and mix it.
  • In a bowl and whisk egg, later add powder sugar, oil, buttermilk and mix it.
  • Add vanilla essence, vinegar, raspberry food colour to the egg mixture and mix it.
  • To it, add all purpose flour mixture and mix nicely.
  • Grease butter to muffin mould, pour batter in it.
  • Bake it at 180 degree centigrade for 15 minutes and rest it aside.
  • Take butter, powder icing sugar and mix nicely, add vanilla essence and mix again, later ransfer into piping bag.
  • Spread it on top of muffins and sprinkle silver balls.

Now red velvet cupcakes are ready to serve.

I made these muffins today. My daughter loved them, she said that they were spongy, light and yummy. I replaced food colour with the beetroot puree and my daughter did not even know that. She loved them. Thankyou for the recipe.
