Ingredients used in Semiya Daddojanam
• Water - 1+1/2 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
• Semiya - 1 cup.
• Oil - 2-3 teaspoons.
• Cumin seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Mustard seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Ginger(finely chopped) - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Chana dal - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Urad dal - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Pepper corns - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Dry red chillies - 2 numbers.
• Curry leaves - 1 springs.
• Yogurt - 1 cup.
Method:
  • Boil water in a pan with little salt.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add semiya and roast it. Add it to boiling water pan and cook it.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, ginger, chana dal, urad dal, pepper corns, dry red chillies, curry leaves and saute it.
  • Once semiya is cooked add yogurt and mix it, later add tempering and mix nicely.
  • Check for seasoning, add salt and mix it.

Now semiya daddojanam is ready to serve.
