Ingredients used in SWEET POLI
• Coconut(grated) - 1 cup.
• Jaggery(grated) - 1 cup.
• Cardamom powder - 1 tea spoon.
• All purpose flour - 1 cup.
• Wheat flour - 1/2 cup.
• Salt - pinch.
• Oil - 1 tablespoon.
• Ghee - 2 tablespoons.
Method:
Heat the pan and add coconut, jaggery and cook it until the jaggery melts. Add cardamom powder to make the round balls and keep aside. Take a bowl and add all purpose flour, wheat flour, salt, 1 tbs oil and mix thoroughly to make a soft dough and apply oil and rest it for 5 minutes. Take the small dumpling of the dough and make the small poori using hand on the oil applied polythene sheet. Stuff the poori with the coconut jaggery stuffing mixture and close the edges and press it again on the polythene sheet. Heat the tawa and cook the poli on both sides using ghee. Now the sweet poli is ready to serve.
