Ingredients used in Thenga Paal/Coconut milk keerai/Greens
• Curry leaves - 4-5 numbers.
• Green chillie(depends on how spicy you want,(cut into 2 halves)) - 3-4 numbers.
• Garlic pods(crushed) - 5-6 numbers.
• Small onion(peeled and cut into halves) - 6-7 numbers.
• Greens(any greens)(washed and finely cut) - 1 /4 bunch.
• Mustard - 1 teaspoons.
• Cummin - 1 teaspoons.
• Coriander leaves - 10 numbers.
• Coconut milk - 3 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
Method:

1)Heat oil in pan. 2)Add mustard,cummin. 3)Once mustard splutters add small onion,garlic,green chillie. 4)Once onion is light brown,add greens. 5)Add coconut milk enough to immerse all greens and bring it to boil. 6)Once greens are boiled,add some more coconut milk to get sambar like consitency. 7)Leave for 5 minutes on low flame and remove. 8)Sprinkle coriander leaves. 9)Serve hot with rice.
