Ingredients used in UKARPENDI
• Coriender leaves - springs.
• Sugar - pinch.
• Salt - to taste.
• Haldi - pinch.
• Red chielli powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Asofodia - pinch.
• Jeera - pinch.
• Cumin seeds - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Oil - as required.
• Dry red chilllies - 2 numbers.
• Green chillies - 1 number.
• Rava - half cup.
• Wheat flour - 1 cup.
• Curd/butter milk - 1 cup.
• Hot water - 1 cup.
• Curry leaves - bunch.
• Onion - 1 piece.
Method:
  • First mix both the flours and then, take a pan and fry it bit for some time till he mixture turns pink.
  • Take it out on a plate and then add some oil to the same pan, add cumin seeds, jeera, asofodia, hing, haldi powder curry leaves, now add green and red chilies, onion to it and fry till its brown.
  • Now add the flour to it and then add the butter milk and then add hot water to it and add some salt to taste and then sprinkle some sugar and cover it with lid.
  • Now remove the lid and take it out in the serving bowl and sprinkle coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot.
