Ingredients used in WHEAT BHUNDI PAYASAM
• Wheat flour - 1 cup.
• Salt - pinch.
• Water - 2 cup.
• Jaggery - 1 cup.
• Cashew nut - 8 numbers.
• Chironji - 1 tablespoon.
• Ghee - 1 tablespoon.
• Milk (boiled) - 1 cup.
• Cardamom powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
Method:
Take a bowl, add wheat flour, pinch of salt, water and mix thoroughly until it form to thick bhundi batter consistency as shown in video. Boil water in a pan, on top of it place the bhundi strainer and pour the batter in it and rotate with the spoon as shown in the video and cook the bhundi. Take another pan, add half cup of water, jaggery and mix thoroughly until it form to a jaggery syrup. Heat ghee in another pan, add cashew nut, chironji, saute it and keep aside. In the jaggery syrup pan, add bhundi and cook it for another 2 minutes. Add milk and cardamom powder to the above pan and cook it. Now, add roasted cashew nut, chironji and switch off the flame. At last, add boiled milk and serve the yummy wheat bhundi payasam.
