Description: Badhal Gobi is an exotic dish where the cauliflower, peas are cooked in tomato spicy sauce and topped with fresh chhena which makes the dish delicious and lip smacking. This dish is Badhal Gobi because the cooked cauliflowers and green peas are nicely clouded over with fresh white colored chhena in red tomato saucy gravy.

Recipe of Badhal Gobi

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Chilli Powder as needed
Turmeric Powder pinch
Ginger Garlic Paste 1/2 Teaspoons
Salt as per taste
Cumin Seeds pinch
Onions 1 Cup
Coriander Powder 1 Teaspoons
Peas 1 Cup
Cauliflower 1 Numbers
Chopped Tomatoes 1 Cup
Oil 1 Tablespoons

Directions

  1. Take a pan add oil, add cumin seeds, chopped onions mix well then add salt, ginger garlic paste, suate it  turmruic, chilli powder, coriander powder, mix well now add chopped tomatoes cook in a very slow flame by closeing it with a lid.
  2. Remove the lid and add some water mix well now add cauliflower and add green peas mix well if need add water and cook till cauliflower is tender. Now add the curddled milk and mix very gently, add garamasala owder and swicth off the flame lastly coriander leaves chopped.

Thanks a lot for sharing such delicious recipes with us, along with giving handy tips. I learnt a lot from you.
I was looking for some cauliflower recipes and foind this Badhal Gobi. I can see the ingredients used, but not able to view the directions. Can you pls look into it?
