Recipe of Dal Fry

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Oil 3-4 Tablespoons
Cumin Seeds 1-2 Pinch
Turmeric 1 Pinch
Gram Masala Powder 1/2 Teaspoons
Red Chili Powder 1/2 Teaspoons
Coriander Powder 1/2 Teaspoons
Green Chilies 2-3 Numbers
Chopped Garlic 1 1/2 Teaspoons
Chopped Ginger 1 Teaspoons
Onion 1 Big
Tomatoes 3 Small
Toor Dal 1/2 Cup
Lemon Juice 1 Teaspoons
Coriander Leaves 1/2 Bunch

Directions

Boil the toor dhal with enough water in the cooker for only two whistles. It should be just boiled and not too soft. Cut the onion, tomoto and chilies into small pieces. Take oil in a frying pan and heat it. Now add cumin seeds, chopped garlic, ginger, onion and green chilies. Fry the mixture on medium flame for 3 to 4 mintues. Stir the mixture periodically. Put chopped tomatoes, turmeric pdr, chilli pdr, coriander pdr, garam masala pdr and salt and fry again on a medium flame for about 5 minutes. Pour cooked dal into this and mix thoroughly. Cook for until dal is cooked. Serve it garnished with chopped coriander leaves and lemon juice.

Thanks a lot for all these recipe, I am so please because I never used to cook but always loved eating, and specially when I am became vegetarian it’s difficult because in UK it’s very imitated choices I had, but now not any more I learn from Vahrehvah videos, and do it myself, Maaza Hii Maaza……
