Recipe of Ghati Mutton

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Onions 8 Small
Dry Grated Cocunut 1/2 Cup
Dried Red Chillies 12 Piece
Black Peppercorn 10 Piece
Nagkeshar 12 Piece
Ginger 2 INCHES
Salt To Taste
Potatoes 4 Small
Kamal Badiyan 2 Numbers
Shahjeera 1 Teaspoons
Cumin Seeds 1 Teaspoons
Corainder Seeds 2 Teaspoons
Mutton 2 Lbs
Garlic 1 1/2 Piece
Oil 5 To Fry


1. Wash Mutton and apply the paste of ginger and garlic and salt. 2. Fry the above given masala in a little oil. 3. Cut 4 onions and fry them in oil. 4. When onions are golden, add grated coconut. fry/rost it ans them grind it fine in the mixer. 5. Grind the fried masala fine from step 2 as well. 6. Heat oil in a vessel and add the remaining onions and fry it till golden brown. 7 Add mutton to it and the grinded masala and the grinded onion/coconut mixture. 8 Add water to desired consistency and cook mutton on small/medium flame with lid on. 9. Enjoy!
