Ingredients used in Mutton Lamb Pulusu
• Mustard seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Cumin seeds - 1/2 tablespoon.
• Brinjal (chopped) - 1 number.
• Drumsticks - 12 piece.
• Tomato puree - 2 numbers.
• Potato (chopped) - 1 number.
• Onion - 1 number.
• Lamb - 2 pound.
• Salt - to taste.
• Tamarind pulp (as needed) - 50 grams.
• Red chili powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Oil - as required.
• Curry leaves - 2 springs.
• Green chillies - 3 numbers.
• Water - as required.
• Garam masala powder - 1 tea spoon.
Method:
  • Wash lamb and cook it in a pressure cooker till tender.
  • On another pan heat oil add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, curry leaves, green chillis.now add onions till fry with ginger and garlic paste.
  • Add all the vegetables diced potato,brinjal,drumsticks, tomato puree until cooked. add the cooked mutton to this with the water.
  • Now add tamarind juice to this dish as much as desired add salt and red chilli powder as much as needed and some garam masala powder.we dont make it thick as a gravy.
  • Leave on medium steam with lid closed till done.
  • It must have some water as it is pulusu.
  • In the end add corainder leaves.

Serve it with hot rice.
