Recipe of Phaldhari kabab veg sheek Kabab

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Red Chilli Pdr 1 Pinch
Paneer 1 Cup
Lime Juice 1/2 Numbers
Chat Masala 1 Pinch
Salt 1 To Taste
Garam Masala 1/4 Teaspoons
Chopped Coriander 1 Teaspoons
Chopped Fresh Corn 1 Cup
Chopped Raisins 1 Tablespoons
Cummin Seeds 1/2 Teaspoons
Chopped Carrot 1 Small
Crushed Cashew 2 Tablespoons
Gr Chilli 2 Numbers
Plantain 2 Numbers


  1. boil green plantain for 20 min , and remove from hat boiling water, if it is left in the water to cool down it will absorb moisture and is not good for kababchop all other ingredients , vegetables and mix like mixing chapati dough
  2.  once ready put it on a wodden spoon or sheek and remove and fry or bake in the oven if you bake it in the oven just brush it with butter or else it will become dry  always sprinkle little chat masala and lemon juice just before serving and seve with chtney of your choice

Hi Sanjay,

I love your videos and your recipes. I made these Kababs for a potluck. The first 2 came very good but third one onwards they starting disintegrating as soon as I would add them to the oil. I tried frying at different temperatures but nothing worked. Please advise why they were disintegrating in oil and what I could do to prevent that.

Can we substitute the green plantains with the regular yellow ones. I have not seen green plantains in any markets here in the US.

The recipe is great.I've tried deep frying and now I want to try baking it .So what;s the temperature for baking kababs(both Phaldhari & chicken sheek kabab) and how long should I?
