Ingredients used in Badhal Gobi
• Chili powder - as required.
• Turmeric powder - 1 pinch.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Cumin seeds - to taste.
• Onions (chopped) - 1 cup.
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Peas - 1 cup.
• Cauliflower (florets) - 1 number.
• Tomatoes (finely chopped) - 1 cup.
• Oil - 1 tablespoon.
• Garam masala powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander leaves (chopped) - 1 bunch.
Method:
  • Take a pan add 1 tablespoon of oil, when it is hot enough, add cumin seeds, chopped onions, mix well till transparent then add salt, ginger garlic paste, saute it.
  • To it, even add turmeric, chili powder, coriander powder, mix well.
  • Now add chopped tomatoes also, cook on a very slow flame by closing it with a lid.
  • Remove the lid and add some water aftersome time, mix well.
  • Later, add cauliflower and green peas, mix well. If need, add some more water and cook until cauliflower is tender.
  • Boil milk, once it comes to boil. Add vinegar diluted with water to it and without mixing frequently. Strain the milk curdled. Keep aside.
  • Now add the curdled milk and mix very gently, add garam masala powder and switch off the flame. Lastly, garnish with coriander leaves chopped.

DeliciousBadhal Gobi is now ready to serve.
