Ingredients used in Brinjal Tomato Bath
• Brinjal/vankaya (slices) - 1 cup.
• Mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Chana dal - 1 tea spoon.
• Urad dal - 1 tea spoon.
• Cashew nuts - 1 tea spoon.
• Ginger (chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Curry leaves - 2 spring.
• Asafoetida/hing - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Onions(chopped) - 1 number.
• Green chilies (chopped) - 2 number.
• Salt - to taste.
• Tomatoes (chopped) - 2 number.
• Water - as required.
• Semolina/suji - 1 cup.
Method:
  1. Heat ghee in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, chana dal, urad dal, cashew nuts, finely chopped ginger and saute it.
  2. To it, then add curry leaves, asafoetida, onion chopped, green chilies, salt and cook it well.
  3. Later add the slices of brinjal, saute and even put chopped tomatoes along withhot water and cook it well.
  4. When brinjal pieces are cooked, add semolina in small quantities and keep mixing it till mixture forms to a thick consistency.

Delicious Brinjal Tomato Bath is now ready to serve.
