Ingredients used in DALL MASALA DOSA
• Green onion - 1 bunch.
• Ginger - 1 piece.
• Garlic - 4 no.
• Cloves - 4 ounce.
• Cinnamon stick - 2 piece.
• Red chilli (according to taste) - 6 no.
• Jeera - 3 tablespoons.
• Rice - 1 cup.
• Moong dall - 1 cup.
• Toor dall - 1 cup.
• Urad dall - 1 cup.
• Onion - 1 large.
• Corriander leaves - 1/4 bunch.
• Salt - to taste.
Method:
  • Soak all dall together for 4-5 hours and rice seperately for 4-5 hours.
  • Grind all the Masala (Jeera, Red Chilli, Cinnamon stick, Cloves, Garlic, Ginger) with rice to a fine paste.
  • Then grind all the dalls to a fine paste and mix with the masala batter.
  • Now chop onions and saute them with little salt till they are transparent and add to the batter.
  • Chop green onions and corriander leaves finely and add to the batter and mix along with salt.
  • Heat dosa pan and spread the batter in oval shape and add little oil. Remove from pan when the dosa turn to a nice brown color.
