Ingredients used in Dondakaya Palli Masala Vepudu
• Tindora chopped (dondakaya) - 1 cup.
• Peanuts - half cup.
• Oil - as required.
• Onions ( chopped ) - 1 number.
• Salt - to taste.
• Tomatoes ( chopped ) - 1 number.
• Chili powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Cumin powder - 1 tea spoon.
Method:
  • Dry roast peanuts, grind to fine powder by adding roasted chana dal and grated coconut.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add chopped onions, salt (to taste), and saute till onions turn light brown in color.
  • Now add chopped tindora, cook it well.
  • Then add chopped tomatoes, chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder to the same pan and mix it well.
  • Season with grinded masala powder and cook it for about 10 minutes with closed lid.

Dondakaya palli masala vepudu is now ready to be served with hot rice.
