Ingredients used in Fried Butter Biscuits
• Egg - 1 number.
• All-purpose flour/maida - 1 cup.
• Butter - 2 tablespoons.
• Salt - to taste.
• Icing sugar(powdered sugar) - 1 cup.
• Almonds flakes - 1 cup.
• Cardamom powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Water melon seeds - 1 tablespoon.
• Vanilla essence - 1 tea spoon.
• Baking powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Oil - as required.
• Water - as required.
Method:
Take all purpose flour(100gms) in a bowl, add butter(25gms), give it a good mix, now add a pinch of salt, powdered sugar, finely chopped almonds, cardamom powder, watermelon seeds, vanilla essence, baking powder and mix it well. Now to it add beaten egg and water mix it into a nice dough,take small portions of dough, roll to thick rotis, cut into desired shapes and deep fry in hot oil. Delicious Fried Butter Biscuits are now ready to serve.
