Fish Molee–Meen Moliee Recipe-Kerala Style Fish Stew

Ingredients used in Fish Molee–Meen Moliee Recipe-Kerala Style Fish Stew
• White fish pieces - 7 pieces.
• Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon.
• Vegetable oil / cayenne oil - 1 tablespoon.
• Garlic - 5 cloves.
• Ginger (shredded) - 1 tea spoon.
• Green chilies (chopped) - 1 number.
• Carrot (chopped) - 1 number.
• Curry leaves (chopped) - 3 springs.
• Shallots (chopped) - 1 number.
• Sambar powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Coconut milk - 1+1/2 cup.
• Coriander leaves (chopped) - 1 bunch.
• Salt - to taste.
Method:
  • Marinate fish pieces bysqueezing some lemon juice, sprinkle salt for about 10 minutes and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add garlic to it and saute it till they turn slightly light brown in colour.
  • Now to the same pan add chopped shallots, shredded ginger, chopped curry leaves, green chillies, carrot, and sauté it till onions and carrots are slightly cooked.
  • Then add sambar powder along with one and a half cup of coconut milk anda little salt, let it cook for about a minute.
  • Add marinated fish pieces, some more chopped curry leaves and cook for 4 to 5 minutes.
  • Later, switch off the flame, top itwith lemon juice and chopped coriander leaves.

Fish Molee with carrot is now ready to serve.
