Ingredients used in MANGO KOZHAMBU
• Mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Corriander powder - 4 teaspoons.
• Chilli powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Tamarind water - to taste.
• Turmeric - 1 pinch.
• Mango raw - 1 number.
• Curry leaves - 4 leaf.
• Refined oil - 1 tablespoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Onion - 1 small.
Method:
  • Heat kadai and pour oil to it.
  • Add mustard seeds,curry leaves and Turmeric.
  • Add Sliced Onion and fry till transparent.
  • Now add sliced mango and add chilli powder, corriander powder and salt to taste.
  • Fry the masalas till the raw smell goes from it.
  • Now add some water to it and let the mangoes get cooked.
  • Check for the sour taste, if the mangoes are sour, leave it or add some tamarind paste to it.
  • Pour water as required to get thick consistency.
  • Garnish with corriander leaves.
  • Serve hot with steamed Rice.
