Ingredients used in HARIYALI KEBAB
• Chana dal - 1 cup.
• Spinach - 1/2 cup.
• Coriander leaves - 1/2 cup.
• Amaranthus leaves - 1/2 cup.
• Gree chillies - 2 numbers.
• Salt - to taste.
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Amchur powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Nutmeg powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Chickpea flour - 1 cup.
• Oil - as required.
Method:
  • Soak chana dal for 4-5 hours then blend it with spinach, coriander leaves, amaranthus leaves, green chilies, and salt.
  • Take the paste in a bowl and add coriander powder, amchur powder, nutmeg powder, chickpea flour and mix it.
  • Make small dumplings and tikki's with the above mixture.
  • Then shallow fry tikkis’s with some oil in a hot pan.
  • Pan fry both the sides till you get nice golden color and serve hot with any chutney or tomato sauce.
