Ingredients used in plantain bhajji
• Curry plantains - 2 numbers.
• Besan powder - 200 grams.
• Rice flour - 100 grams.
• Chilli powder - 2 teaspoons.
• Salt - to taste.
• Oil - to fry.
• Ajwain seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Cooking soda - 1 tea spoon.
Method:
  • Scrape the curry plantain( the curry plantain should not be ripe) slice them into thin, flat, big pieces. Keep aside.
  • Put the besan powder, rice flour, chili powder, cooking soda, ajwain seeds and salt into a bowl.
  • Add ginger garlic paste, water and make a smooth, thick paste by adding besan flour.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan. dip plantain pieces well in the besan paste and deep fry in hot oil.
