Chinese style fried rice with peas

Ingredients used in Chinese style fried rice with peas
• Basmati rice - 1 cup.
• Water - as required.
• Oil - as required.
• Ginger - 1 small.
• Garlic - 6 cloves.
• Green peas - 1/2 cup.
• Spring onion (chopped) - 1/2 bunch.
• Chili flakes - 1 tea spoon.
• Sugar - 1 tea spoon.
• Soya sauce - 1 tea spoon.
• Tomato ketchup - 1 tea spoon.
• Gingelly seeds ( sesame seeds) - 1 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
Method:
  • In a pan add water, basmati rice and cook it.
  • Take a pan add oil, ginger, garlic, green peas, spring onion, salt, chili flakes, sugar, soya sauce, tomato ketch up and saute it well.
  • Add cooked rice, spring onion and put on lid and cook it.

Serve it and top it up with fried sesame seeds.
