Ingredients used in Mushroom Pulihora
• Rice (boiled) - 1 cup.
• Tamarind juice - 1 cup.
• Mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Dry red chilies - 4 cups.
• Peanuts - 1 tablespoon.
• Chana dal - 1 tablespoon.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Ginger (chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Hing - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Curry leaves - 2 springs.
• Green chilies (chopped) - 2 number.
• Salt - to taste.
• Oil - as required.
• Fenugreek seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Sesame seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Mushrooms - 1 cup.
Method:
  • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, dry red chilies, peanuts, chana dal, cumin seeds, toss it, chopped ginger, turmeric powder, hing, curry leaves, tamarind juice, chopped green chilies, salt and saute till oil oozes out of the mixture.
  • Now add chopped mushroom pieces along with crushed fenugreek and sesame seeds,mix it,cook for about 5 minutes, add cooked rice, toss well, saute for about 5 minutes and turn off the flame.

DeliciousMushroom Pulihora is now ready to serve.
