Veg Fried Rice/ Pulao ( Home Style ) Recipe, CHAWAL, How To Make Veg Fried Rice/ Pulao ( Home Style ) Recipe

This is a very common rice item which my mom and pinni make for special occasions, especially at birthdays. In fact all the women in my family know how to make this delicious recipe. It is easy to make and makes for a perfect celebratory food. I'm a doctor by profession and have never had the time to learn how to cook inspite of repeated pestering from family members. I was posted at Goa Manipal Hospitals for 3 months, during which I was compelled to learn cooking as it was very difficult to eat out everyday. I started watching Vahchef - and have become a regular viewer and an ardent fan. I've started cooking since 5 months and now I cant stop. I absolutely enjoy cooking - Thanks to Vahchef. My recipe will help even learners make a deliciuos pulao. This is my pinni's recipe and I would love to share it with everyone especially amateurs like me.

The specialty of this Veg Pulao is that , it goes very well with all the non-veg dishes and pappu charu. I'm often never satisfied with the veg pulao/ biryani I have at restaurants because I find the vegetables, especially french beans not cooked well. This method ensures that all the vegetables are well cooked and the flavours of the masala and vegetables are retained. Next time, invite your friends over for dinner and surprise them with The Veg Pulao. Thank You Vahchef.
