Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Grated Coconut 1 Cup
Coriander Seeds 1 Tablespoons
Asefotida(hing) small Pinch
Red Whole Chillies 4-5 Numbers
Onions 1 Large
Clams 2 Lbs
Tamarind Paste 1 Teaspoons
Salt To Taste
Oil 2 Tablespoons


In a boiling water cook clams.They will open remove the flesh and throw the upper part of shell but keep few with shells attached to it for more taste.Keep aside. Now in a pan take some oil and fry red whole chillies,coriander seeds and add it to grated coconut along with turmeric powder also add asefotida and grind it . In a pan take oil and fry onions, , and the above paste.After 4-5 mins add Clams.Add Salt and bring it to boil.
