Ingredients used in CHENNAR JHILI
• Grated paneer - 1 cup.
• Cardamom powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Hung yogurt - 1 tea spoon.
• Baking soda - pinch.
• Wheat flour - 1 tea spoon.
• Sugar (for syrup) - 1 cup.
• Oil - as required.
Take grated paneer in a bowl add 1 teaspoon sugar, cardamom powder, hung curd, baking soda, and wheat flour. Knead all the ingredients to make a nice dough.
Take water in a vessel and add sugar to it to make sugar syrup as you make gulab jamun syrup.
Make small round shape balls or jamuns and deep fry them by continuously rotating in oil.
Once they turn brown in color take them on tissue paper.
Drop in these jamuns in sugar syrup as we do for gulab jamun and add cardamom powder in it.
Mix them once slowly and let them be soaked for 15 minutes.
After 10-15 minutes take chenna jhili the in a bowl and enjoy.
