Ingredients used in Chole Dhania Masala
• Kabuli chana / garbanzo - 250 grams.
• Chole masala powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Onion (chopped) - 1 number.
• Coriander leaves (chopped) - 2 tablespoons.
• Coriander seeds (crushed) - 1 tablespoon.
• Tomatoes (chopped) - 2 number.
• Red chili powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Oil - 2 tablespoons.
Method:
  • Soak kabuli chana for about 2-3 hours and boil in a pressure cooker till 3-4 whistles.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add crushed coriander seeds, coriander leaves, saute it.
  • Now add finely chopped onions, salt (to taste), saute it for another minute.
  • Then add ginger garlic paste, cook this till raw flavour is gone.
  • To it, add chole masala powder, chili powder, chopped tomatoes, cook this till tender.
  • In the same pan, add kabuli chana (garbanzo), mix it well and saute it for 2 minutes. Then switch off the flame, serve this with naan, chapathi.
