Ingredients used in Cranberry pickle
• Cranberries - 1 lbs.
• Coriander seeds - 2 tablespoons.
• Fenugreek seeds - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Mustard seeds - 2 tablespoons.
• Hing - 1 pinch.
• Oil - 1 cup.
• Red chilly powder - 1 tablespoons.
• Jaggery - 1 tablespoons.
• Salt - 2 to.
• Turmeric powder - 1 pinch.
Method:
* Heat a little more oil in a pan. * Fry cranberries in the oil till they become a kind of paste. * Let them become cold. * Dry roast fenugreek seeds, mustard seeds and coriander seeds seperately. * Blend them and keep aside. * Add all the 3 seeds powders, jaggery, salt, turmeric powder, red chilly powder and fried cranberries and blend them till paste. Seasoning :: * Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and hing. Mix the seasoning with the cranberry paste. * Here is the Cranberry Pickle and serve it with rice.
