Ingredients used in Fried Corn Cakes with Green Onions
• Onions (finely chopped) - 3 numbers.
• Garlic (finely chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Ginger ( finely chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Red bell pepper (chopped) - 1 numbers.
• Spring onions (chopped) - 2 tablespoons.
• Red chili flakes - 2 tablespoons.
• Salt - to taste.
• Indian corn - 2 numbers.
• Rice flour - 2 tablespoons.
• Egg - 1 numbers.
• Oil - to fry.
• Coriander leaves (chopped) - 1/2 bunch.
Method:
Take indian corn, remove the kernels and put it into the blender to make a coarse paste. In a bowl, add corn paste, salt, chili flakes, spring onions, bell pepper(red), chopped ginger, chopped garlic, coriander leaves, chopped onions, rice flour, egg, mix it well. Then make this mixture into round portions then make it flat and fry them in the moderately hot oil. Serve this hot with sweet garlic sauce.
