Dryfruits delight is a wonderful Indian sweet dessert that can be eaten throughout the year as it contains a high quantity and variety of dried fruits and makes is exceptionally rich. This dish is best when served during festivals or feasts. This dessert can also be served during tea time. Dryfruits delight is made with coconut flakes and seviyan cooked in sweet condensed milk and garnished with a variety of chopped and fried dry fruits.

Coconut flakes are highly beneficial to health and enhances the taste of the dish giving it a nutty and sweet flavor. Coconut in any form like coconut juice, milk, cream and the shavings of the coconut flesh are used in various forms in Indian cooking. They are added to various curries (Coconut curry, Fish Moilee (Kerala style in coconut milk), Prawn coconut curry and Coconut chutney), desserts (Coconut sweet, Coconut cornflake cookies, Coconut burfi), stews or soups and drinks (Lime, coconut, mint lassi).

Coconut boosts energy and endurance, enhancing physical and athletic performance. It quickly creates a nutritional boost of energy that lasts and supports tissue and muscle healing and repair. Coconut flesh, water, milk or cream is utilized by the body to produce energy in preference to being stored as body fat like other dietary fats. Any dry fruits like the cashews, walnuts, almonds, pistachio, raisins, dates, hazelnut or peanuts etc can be added in the making of the Dry fruits delight. For preparing this exotic Rava delight, firstly take a pan and add some ghee in it. Add seviyan (Indian thin noodles) and stir in hot ghee until golden brown. Add coconut powder to it and toss well.

Then add the chopped dry fruits and heat it for sometime. Do all this over low flame. Switch off the flame and add sweet condensed milk and mix well. Grease a tray and spread this mixture in the tray and cut it into diamond shape and allow it to cool. Serve this with tea or any festival time.
