MALAI PALAK CHICKEN

Ingredients used in MALAI PALAK CHICKEN
• Chicken - 200 grams.
• Yogurt - 1/2 cup.
• Cumin powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Red chili powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Garam masala - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Onion(chopped) - 1/2 cup.
• Green chillies(chopped) - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Spinach- palak puree - 1/2 cup.
• Fresh cream - 1 tablespoon.
• Coriander leaves(chopped) - 1 tablespoon.
• Lime juice - 1 tablespoon.
• Oil - 2 tablespoons.
Method:
  • Take a bowl and add chicken, yogurt, cumin powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and mix thoroughly then allow it to marinate.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add onion, salt, green chillies, ginger garlic paste and saute it.
  • Add marinated chicken and saute it, cook it with lid on it.
  • When the chicken is fried add palak puree and cook it with lid on it.
  • Add fresh cream and saute it.
  • Atlast add coriander leaves, lime juice and mix nicely.

Now the malai palak chicken curry is ready to serve with roti or rice.

Thank you for the recipe and the video, it was very helpful. I tried this recipe today, I scaled it up as I had one whole chicken. My family loved it!
