Ingredients used in Puliyogare
• Tamarind juice 1 Cup.
• salt To Taste.
• Sugar 1 Tablespoons.
• cooked white rice 2 Cup.
• Coriander seeds 4 Teaspoons.
• Mustard seeds 2 Teaspoons.
• Cumin seeds 2 Teaspoons.
• Seasme seeds 4 Teaspoons.
• grated coconut 1 Cup.
• Hing 1 Teaspoons.
• Urad dal 2 Teaspoons.
• Channa dal 1 Teaspoons.
• Jaggery small 1 Piece.
• Red chillies 5 Numbers.
• oil 1/2 Cup.
• Few curry leaves To Taste.
How to make the recipe:
ÔÇóRoast 1 tsp mustard seeds, cumin seeds, 2 tsp sesame seeds, ¢ tsp channa dal, 1 tsp urad dal one by one. ÇóGrind it to make a fine powder. ÇóRoast the coconut. ÇóMix the roasted coconut and powder. ÇóHeat oil and add mustard seeds, sesame seeds, red chillies, urad dal and chana dal. ÇóAdd the tamarind juice and jaggery. ÇóMix salt and allow it to boil. ÇóAdd the powdered masala and boil till it turns thick. ÇóMix it with the cooked rice. ÇóServe hot.
