STREET STYLE PLANTAIN 65 FRIED RICE

Ingredients used in STREET STYLE PLANTAIN 65 FRIED RICE
• Raw plantain - 1 number.
• Rice flour - 1 tablespoon.
• All purpose flour - 2 tablespoons.
• Green chili paste - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Ginger paste - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Curry leaves(chopped) - 3 springs.
• Pepper crush - 1 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Tasting salt - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Red chili powder - 2 tablespoons.
• Oil - to fry.
• Ginger(finely chopped) - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Garlic(finely chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Onion(slices) - 1/4 cup.
• Garam masala - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Curd - 1/2 cup.
• Lime juice - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Basmati rice(cooked) - 2 cup.
• Coriander leaves(chopped) - 1 tablespoon.
• Green chilies - 2 numbers.
Method:
  • Peel and cut the plantain into round slices.
  • Take a bowl and add rice flour, all purpose flour, green chili paste, ginger paste, curry leaves, ½ teaspoon pepper crush, salt, ¼ tsp tasting salt,1 tablespoon red chili powder, little water and make thick batter.
  • Coat raw plantain slice in above mixture and deep fry in hot oil.
  • Heat 2 tablespoon oil in a pan and add ginger, garlic, curry leaves, onion and saute it. Add 1tablespoon red chili powder, garam masala and saute it, later add curd, ¼ teaspoon tasting salt, ½ teaspoon pepper crush, lime juice and cook it.
  • Add basmati rice and saute it later sprinkle little water, coriander leaves and mix nicely.
  • Transfer into serving plate and garnish with fried plantain.

Now street style plantain 65 is ready to serve with raitha.
