VEGETABLE IDLY UPMA

Ingredients used in VEGETABLE IDLY UPMA
• Idlis - 3 numbers.
• Oil - as required.
• Cumin seeds - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Ginger (chopped) - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Onions (chopped) - 1 number.
• Salt - to taste.
• Green chillies - 3 numbers.
• Carrots - 3 numbers.
• Beans - 3 numbers.
• Curry leaves - 2 springs.
• Turmeric - 1 tea spoon.
• Green peas - 1 tablespoon.
• Coriander (chopped) - 1/2 cup.
Method:
  • Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, chopped ginger, chopped onions, green chillies, salt, saute it for few minutes
  • Then add finely chopped carrot, beans, curry leaves, turmeric powder, green peas, cook by stirring occasionally for about 2-3 minutes.
  • Add idli pieces by mashing it to small pieces and mix well.
  • Finally add chopped coriander leaves, cook in steam by switch off the flame for few seconds.

Serve it hot.
