Recipe of Channa Cabbage

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Red Chilli Powder as needed
Cumin Seeds 1 Teaspoons
Onion 1 Cup
Green Chilli 5 Numbers
Turmuric Powder pinch Pinch
Ginger Garlic Paste Optional 1/2 Teaspoons
Coconut Powder 1 Tablespoons
Coriander Powder 1/2 Teaspoons
Oil 1 Teaspoons
Channa Boiled 1 Cup
Cabbage 500 Grams
Coriander Leaves 1 Bunch


Take a pan add oil,cumin seeds,chopped onions,green chilli salt,saute them and then add turmuric powder,gingergarlic paste,cabbage,mix it well then add coriander powder,red chilli powder,coconut powder,bolied channa saute them and close it with a lid and cook till the cabbage is tender.

If required add water for cooking.

Once the cabbage is tender add coriander leave chopped.

Serve with roti or pulkas.

I followed the recipe here to the core and the dish turned out fantastic. The only change I made is cook using a pressure cooker.

Turned out awesome...

I made this today as both hubby and I are on a self planned weight loss program....though I am not a big fan of cabbage I really loved this recipe...very flavorful..i skipped the coconut powder. still tastes very very good

please look into this page main ingredient is Apple and this dish is catogerised under desserts. So maybe u need to do the needful.
