Ingredients used in APPLE HALWA
• Apple (grated) - 1 number.
• Ghee - (3-4) teaspoons.
• Cashew nut - (5-8) numbers.
• Raisins - (8-10) numbers.
• Semolina - 2 tablespoons.
• Cardamom powder - pinch.
• Milk - 1/2 cup.
• Saffron - 1 pinch.
• Sugar - 1/2 cup.
Method:
Remove peel and grate the apple. Heat ghee in a pan, add cashew nut, raisins and saute it. When raisins are puffed up add semolina and saute it. Heat ghee in another pan and add grated apple, cardamon powder and saute it, Add milk, saffron color, and saute it. Add roasted semolina mixture and mix it. Add sugar and mix nicely. Place lid and cook for 2 minutes. Now apple halwa is ready to serve.
