Ingredients used in Bread Upma
• Urad dal - 1/2-1 teaspoons.
• Jeera - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Mustard - 1 teaspoons.
• Red chilli powder - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Salt - to taste to taste.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1-2 teaspoons.
• Green chillies - 6 numbers.
• Curd/yogurt - 1/2 to 1 cup.
• Onions - 1 numbers.
• Bread - 8 slice.
• Red chilli - 2 numbers.
• Curry leaves - 6-8 numbers.
• Coriander leaves - to taste leaf.
• Oil - 2 tablespoons.
• Lime juice - 2 teaspoons.
Method:
1) Cut bread slices into small squares 2) Chop onions and green chillies to small pieces 3) To the curd/yogurt, add salt and chilli powder and spread on a plate 4) Dip the bread squares in the yogurt (not fully, just a little on both side) 5) In a pan, heat oil and add the seasoning ingredients, mustard, jeera, red chillies, urad dal and curry leaves 6) After they are done, add onions, green chillies and ginger garlic paste 7) When the onions becomes transparent, add the bread pieces covered with curd 8) Make sure the pieces dont become a paste. Put them some at a time in an orderly fashion 9) After about a minute, when one side of these are done(turn a bit brown), turn them to the other and cook. 10) Sprinkle lime juice over it 11) Garnish with coriander leaves
